“The Arrangement” isn`t first-class TV, but it`s sharper than you`d expect from the celebrity-obsessed network that brought us “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and that funny dingamajig glambot that forces stars to strut their stuff in slow motion on red carpets. (I`ve never seen the network`s other series of scripts, “The Royals,” but it gets pretty solid ratings.) Evangelista plays Megan as effortless cool – confident, with only a touch of vulnerability – and that`s the main reason why the new E! Scripted Series is a pleasure to see. The Arrangement plays things a little too conservative to live up to its potential, but viewers who enjoy a cynical view of the Hollywood couple may find the series refreshing open to celebrity matchmaking. .
